  • When baking, invest in parchment paper for lining pans. It makes for easy cleanup!
  • Brush brown and serve rolls with melted butter, and the tops will get golden!
  • If the dough sticks to the rolling pin, place the rolling pin in the freezer for a few minutes.
  • Try rolling pie dough between two sheets of waxed paper, the dough is easier to manage and doesn’t stick to the table or your rolling pin. Once the dough is in the desired shape and thickness, peel off the waxed paper and place directly in the pie plate. Cut off the excess.
  • For best results when you’re baking, leave butter and eggs at room temperature overnight.
  • When using all-purpose flour, keep in mind that one pound of flour is the equivalent of 4 cups.
  • Rinse your measuring cup in hot water before using syrup, oil, etc. It will pour out clean and not stick to the cup.
  • Tired of sticky measuring spoons & cups? Before measuring honey, syrup, or molasses, spray the measuring spoon or cup with a coating of nonstick cooking spray. The sticky ingredients slide right out with no mess on the spoon or cup.
  • Save your margarine or butter wrappers to grease your baking pans.
