Microwave Acorn Squash

Acorn Squash in the Microwave

Ingredients
 

  • 2 acorn squash
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Cut squash in half. Scoop out inside and discard seeds. 
  • Place water in bottom of a microwave-safe dish. Place squash cut side down in dish.
  • Microwave on high for 6 to 8 minutes or until just tender. 
  • Turn squash cut side up.
  • Sprinkle each with a little salt. Fill centers of squash with brown sugar and butter. 
  • Microwave on high for 4 minutes or until heated through.
