Old School Cheese Ball

Old School Cheese Ball

Servings 12

Ingredients
 

  • 1 jar (5 ounces) Kraft Old English Cheese Spread
  • 1 jar Kraft Pimento Cheese Spread
  • 1 jar Kraft Roku Blue Cheese Spread
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1 block cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 to 1 cup ground nuts (walnuts, hickory or pecans)

Instructions
 

  • Put all ingredients in a large bowl and use a mixer.
  • Beat until well combined.
  • Spray non-stick spray on a piece of wax paper.
  • If you like, divide the cheese ball mix into two portions.
  • Wrap wax paper around each and place in sealed plastic bag.
  • Refrigerate overnight.
  • When ready to eat, take the cheese ball and roll in nuts until all sides are coated.
  • Place on serving plate. Serve surrounded with crackers.

Notes

  • You can freeze if wrapped well for up for up to 3 months.
  • Let thaw in the fridge and then roll with nuts when ready to eat.

For the holidays…

Double the recipe and make a Christmas Tree Cheese Ball!
  • After you refrigerate the cheese ball overnight coat it with chopped parsley.
  • You can decorate the “tree” with sliced almonds or other nuts and red and or yellow peppers as ornaments.
  • You can cut a pepper into a star shape for the top of the tree.
  • Surround it by crackers.
  • This makes a great centerpiece for your holiday buffets and parties!
