Cinnamon Roll and Sausage Butterflies

Ingredients
- 8 package fully cooked sausage links
- 1 package (12.4 ounces) Pillsbury cinnamon rolls
- Colored sugar or sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Cut cinnamon roll dough in half.
- Place rounded sides together in pairs on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Pinch rounded sides together.
- Bake 5 minutes.
- Place a sausage link in the center of each pair of cinnamon halves.
- Bake another 5 to 8 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool a bit.
- Use a knife to spread on frosting.
- You can also spoon frosting into a resealable plastic bag.
- Cut a corner off.
- Pipe on each cinnamon roll.
- Decorate with colored sugar or sprinkles, if desired.
