What type of hand mixer do you use?
I have a KitchenAid that works great but an electric mixer will work. Thanks!
I’ve made this many times and it’s always a huge hit. I’ve also made this into either frozen brandy alexanders or pink squirrel ice cream drinks too by changing up the liquors. But this grasshopper is our favorite.
Hi Mary. Thanks for sharing! I’ll have to try some other flavors too! Love them all! -Amy
How long in advance can you make it? how long will it stay creamy in the fridge?
Hi Katy. This can be made a month or more ahead. You may need to thaw a bit before scooping. This would be really fun for a St. Paddy’s party! Let me know what you think! We love it! Great with a chocolate syrup drizzle and whipped cream on top!
Do you put the ice cream in the mixer too?? Or mix the 3 ingredients into ice cream after blending? Seems a step is missing.
Tweaked it! You mix it all together and then freeze. Thanks! Enjoy! -Amy
A neighbor made this for our annual Holiday get-together…it was fabulous!
