Ingredients
 

  • 1 package (16 ounce) little smoked sausages
  • 1 pound bacon
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Cut bacon into thirds and wrap each strip around a little sausage.
  • Place the wrapped sausages on plain colored wooden toothpicks.
  • Place on a foil lined baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle with brown sugar.
  • Bake 15 to 25 minutes until bacon is crisp and the brown sugar is melted.

    Hi I’ve made these but use a third of a piece if bacon. Pour brown sugar to cover and cook at 250 for two hours stirring at one hour. Maybe more carmelized but all ways great

    Amy , this was very good. My daughter also does the same recipe but uses the whole water chestnut, places them on brown paper and bakes them till bacon is crisp

    This recipe is great for the crock pot too. Just wrap the sausages in the bacon and secure with toothpick then just place in the crockpot and put brown sugar over the top. Turn the crockpot on to low for 4 hrs or high for 2. Yum!
