3/4 cups peanut butter
1 1/4 cups brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup softened butter or shortening
3 tablespoons milk
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
Mini chocolate covered pretzels
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine brown sugar, peanut butter, shortening, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed. Add egg and beat until just blended. In another bowl, combine flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture at low speed. Form 2 inch balls of dough and place on parchment lined cookie sheets. Pinch the bottom slightly to make a point. Flatten a bit by hand. Bake for 7 to 8 minutes until just turning brown. Remove and press 2 pretzel antlers at the tops of the cookies. Press 2 brown M&Ms for the eyes, and one red M&M for the nose. Let cool completely before removing from cookie sheet.

will the chocolate covered pretzels melt when baking in the oven?
