Cinnamon Roll and Sausage Butterflies

Ingredients:
8 package fully cooked sausage links
1 package (12.4 ounces) Pillsbury cinnamon rolls
Colored sugar or sprinkles (optional)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut cinnamon roll dough in half. Place rounded sides together in pairs on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Pinch rounded sides together. Bake 5 minutes.

Place a sausage link in the center of each pair of cinnamon halves. Bake another 5 to 8 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool a bit. Use a knife to spread on frosting. You can also spoon frosting into a resealable plastic bag. Cut a corner off. Pipe on each cinnamon roll. Decorate with colored sugar or sprinkles, if desired.

Makes 8.
