1 cup sugar
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup or 1 stick butter, room temperature
3 large eggs
4 1/2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups M & M’s
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl or stand mixer, combine sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter and butter; beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Add oats and baking soda; mix well. Mix in chocolate chips and M & M’s. Drop dough by heaping tablespoons or bigger, depending on how “Monster” you want them, 2 1/2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 11 to 14 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool a few minutes an remove from cookie sheets.
