French Chocolate Pie

Ingredients:
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 squares cooled melted Baker’s unsweetened chocolate
2 eggs
2 c. whipped cream
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Stir in unsweetened chocolate. Add eggs 1 at a time beating 5 minutes after each on high speed with mixer. Fold in whipped cream (I use Cool Whip). Pour mixture into a cooled baked 9″ pie shell. Chill until firm for 2 hours and garnish with Cool Whip and shaved chocolate.

concerned about ingesting the raw eggs….
Good point Jane. If you’re concerned about the raw eggs you could use pasteurized eggs. You can find them near the eggs in the grocery store.
