Easter Egg Cupcakes
1 box (18 ounce) yellow cake mix, batter prepared according to pkg. directions
24 pastel cupcake liners
24 small chocolate eggs, unwrapped
1 can vanilla frosting
Preheat oven according to cake mix package. Line cupcake pans with cupcake liners.
Prepare cake mix according to box. Fill cups halfway with batter. Place chocolate egg in center of each cup. Top with remaining batter. Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until golden. Cool, completely. Separate can of frosting into small bowls and color each bowl a different pastel color.
Frost cupcakes. Makes about 24 regular sized cupcakes. Fun for the kids to make before Easter!
