  • When you sauté garlic, slice it instead of mincing it. It’s less likely to burn that way.
  • Garlic skin comes off easily if the garlic cloves are slightly warmed before peeling. Microwave garlic cloves for 15 seconds and the skins slip right off.
  • To roast garlic, sprinkle the bulb with a little olive oil and salt and pepper, wrap it in tin foil, and roast in a 350-degree oven for approximately one hour.
  • When mincing garlic, sprinkle on a little salt so the pieces won’t stick to your knife
