Apple Walnut Brie

Apple Walnut Brie

Ingredients
 

  • 8 oz. round of brie
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 apple - peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup walnuts - coarsely chopped
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • Assorted crackers and or sliced French bread

Instructions
 

  • Melt the butter in non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • Add apples and cook a couple minutes until they start to soften.
  • Add the walnuts and honey and cook another 2 minutes.
  • Put the round of brie on a microwave safe plate.
  • Heat in the microwave on high for 45 seconds to 1 minute or until it gets a bit soft.
  • Pour apple walnut mixture over the brie round and serve right away with the crusty slices of French bread or crackers.

  2. I saw you make this yesterday on Fox 9 in the Twin Cities. It looked so easy and delicious. It looked so easy and quick that I don’t think it’ll even be a hassle to add it to Christmas dinner. I can’t wait!
