Tennis Anyone?
Have you ever signed up for something and then thought to yourself, what in the world was I thinking? I play tennis. It’s my jam! I used to play when I was a kid. I was on the high school tennis team. I loved it! Then, I got busy with kids and work and I gave it up. I just didn’t have time. But, I always wanted to get back in the game. So 5 years ago I did! I joined a tennis club in Green Bay. I took tennis 101 and then tennis 102. And, that was it! I was back in it! And, was hooked! I now play several times a week! I even got my hubby into tennis. I’m in several ladies leagues and one night after we played a few of my tennis friends talked me into going to a tennis camp this summer. Sure! Let’s do it! I’m in! Then reality hit! Big time.
We were not staying in a hotel. We were staying in a college dorm. Check out my dorm room. Yikes!
And, the dorm food! Double Yikes! You know what, it turned out to be a total blast! And, after playing 8 hours of tennis all day in the extreme heat for 3 days I never slept so good on that foam twin mattress.
We packed the fridge with veggies, dips, cheese and wine and every night after a long day of tennis we created our own little party in our dorm room.
