Sugar and Soy Grilled Salmon

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 4-6 to 8-ounce salmon fillets
- Salt and pepper
- Lime or lemon wedge - optional
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar and vegetable oil.
- Place fish in a glass or plastic dish or re-sealable bag.
- Pour soy sauce mixture over the fish, turning to coat.
- Cover dish or seal bag and refrigerate for up to 2 hours.
- Remove fish from marinade.
- Season with a little salt and pepper.
- Lightly oil or spray grill with cooking spray.
- Place salmon on grill, skin side down.
- Grill salmon 6-8 minutes per side, or until fish just starts to flake with a fork.
- Serve with lime or lemon wedges.

Looks delish, but one question though, if you are to marinade the fish for two hours wouldn’t you loose the natural flavor of the salmon?
Hi. You can certainly marinade for a lot less time. Even 15 to 20 minutes would work. Thanks! -Amy
