Fresh Powder!
My family loves to ski! We were all dreaming of a white Christmas and lots of snow on the ski hills this holiday and we got it! I grew up in a little town called Petoskey, Michigan. We visit as much as we can. The holidays are so magical here! It’s got that small town charm plus some great skiing in the winter. That is, if it snows. Well, the snow started coming down hard early Christmas morning. By afternoon the kids begged to try out their new ski stuff, so we did. What fun! Nothing beats fresh powder on the slopes and no lift lines! My favorite part is going to warm up by the fireplace in the lodge with a nice hot mocha. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas too! What a perfect Christmas for you and your family. Mine was a little hampered by losing a very close Uncle. He was a retired Bishop from Marquette, MI so we had to spend Christmas week going to the funeral there (2 day event) and then a memorial service in Green Bay. It was a most beautiful celebration of life but still tough on the heart. God wanted him home for Christmas so I have to rejoice in his joy. Christmas was then spent with my foster daughter , her three kids and their dog at our home. It was the right medicine. Now I have to know how you like your Roomba?? Please update us on how well that works. I have been thinking about it but am sure my Yorkie will hate it just like Levi! Happy New Year Amy.
