- Fresh coffee beans can also absorb nasty odors from your hands.
- Mix 1 cup of white vinegar and 1 gallon of hot water for super clean floors.
- Add a tablespoon of vinegar to hot soapy water to cut grease on dirty dishes.
- For a clean microwave, place 1/4 cup white vinegar and 1 cup water in a heat-proof bowl, and then microwave on high for 2 minutes. Use a cloth to wipe off the inside.
- Put orange or lemon Peel in your garbage disposal for a clean, fresh scent!
- Got an empty jar of dill pickles? Use the left-over juice to clean the copper bottoms of your pans. Let the juice sit in the pan for 15 minutes. Comes out looking like new.
- Pour a little olive oil into dirty glasses vases and let stand until the stains or sediment disappear.
- Did you cook with classes on, and now they are dirty? Use a drop of white vinegar to clean your eyeglasses.
- To restore color and shine to an aluminum pan, boil some apple peels in it for a few minutes, then rinse and dry.
- Burnt food can be removed from a glass baking dish by spraying it with oven cleaner. Let it sit for 30 minutes and wipe off.
- Use baking soda with a little vinegar to deodorize drains and clean stovetops and sinks.
- To clean fruit stains off of your fingers, rub them with a fresh, peeled potato. White vinegar can also do the trick.
- To clean cast iron cookware, don’t use detergents. Just scrub them with salt and a clean, dry paper towel.
