I I’m making this recipe for my Christmas Eve party.
Love this recipe!!! One of our go-to’s every other week!
Amy, It was nice to see you on TCL! I am going to make both the pulled chicken and pork – how far in the recipe can I go before hand and then finish on the day of the superbowl?
Hi Becky. Thanks for watching! You can make the entire recipe for both and then go ahead and shred them up. I’d then taste and add more BBQ sauce to both if needed before serving. Thanks! -Amy
Amy,
Can the chicken stock be omitted and use all BBQ sauce instead? If so, does that change the cooking time?
Thank you!
Hi Amy. Yes you could leave out the chicken stock. Sure use all BBQ sauce and maybe 1/2 cup of water. I’d get an extra bottle of BBQ sauce in case you want to add a bit more at the end when the chicken is all shredded. Thanks! -Amy
Amy I can’t wait to try this. I am doing this with only 3 or 4 chicken breast. Do i need to change anything?
Amy. How many sandwiches does this make.
Hi Chuck. This makes 16 to 20 sandwiches depending on how many chicken breasts you use and how big they are. It’s great for crowds and leftovers freeze well and can be reheated in the microwave! Thanks! -Amy
