4 ounces chive and onion or plain cream cheese
6 jalapeño peppers, halved lengthwise, seeded
4 slices bacon
12 wooden toothpicks (optional)
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheet with foil. Spray with cooking spray. Stuff pepper halves with cream cheese. Cut each bacon slice into thirds. Wrap one piece of bacon around each stuffed pepper half. Secure with a toothpick if you like. Place on cookie sheet. Bake 15 to 25 minutes or until bacon is crispy. Serve warm.
These are also delicious grilled! Just grill on low to medium heat until peppers get a little soft and bacon gets crispy.
