Egg Nog French Toast

Ingredients:
10 to 12 slices thick cut white bread or Texas Toast
3 eggs
2 cups egg nog
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
4 tablespoons butter, plus extra for serving if you like
Powdered sugar
Warm maple syrup

Directions:
In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, egg nog, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Heat a little butter in a large skillet or on a griddle set to medium heat. Right before cooking, dip each piece of the bread into the egg nog mixture and cook in skillet for about 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Serve right away extra butter, powdered sugar and maple syrup on top.

    Found this on Pinterest. Tried it this morning and it was a hit! So tasty! I did use light egg nog and skipped the butter on the skillet to save a few calories.
