1 can (4.75 ounces) crabmeat, drained well
2 tablespoons finely diced red pepper
4 tablespoons butter, softened
1 jar (4 ounces) Old English cheese
1/2 tablespoon garlic salt
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
6 English muffins, split
1 tablespoon finely chopped scallions or Italian parsley for garnish
Mix together first six ingredients. Cut each English muffin like a pizza into 8 bite-sized pieces. Spread some of the crab mixture onto each piece. Bake on a cookie sheet in a preheated 375 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve right away! Garnish with scallions or parsley before serving.
You can slice up the muffins and make the crab spread ahead of time, then throw them in the oven just before you want to serve!
