THIS is the ULTIMATE trip to Italy! I plan this trip every year! It’s filled with THE BEST Italian food and wine and so much fun!

This isn’t a cookie cutter trip! This trip is VERY unique and so incredibly special! I’m a cookbook author and a food blogger so this is a culinary trip! It’s all about the food!  

We’ll enjoy the very best! Bring on the pasta, pizza, and wonderful Italian food and wine and lots of gelato too! We visit and explore beautiful Italian towns and gorgeous scenery! It’s such a fun trip!

I work hard to plan every meal and every last detail. We’ll take 3 different cooking classes and learn to make so many delicious authentic Italian dishes!

We’re going to Italy at the best time of year! The weather the weather is lovely! Plus, no big summer crowds!

For the main trip you’ll fly out you will fly out November 1, 2027. We’ll spend 8 nights at one of THE MOST gorgeous 14th century Tuscan resorts. My travelers LOVE this resort and you will too!

I always offer the option to fly in a couple days early to explore the magnificent city of Florence. Most of my travelers do this! It’s always a good idea to fly in early to rest up and recover from the long flight. You are in Italy anyway, why not fly in a couple days early and explore Florence! It’s one of my favorite city! It’s filled with so much art, history, culture and the most delicious food! AMAZING shopping too!

If you decide to join me for the pre-trip 2 night extension you’ll fly out October 30 and spend two nights in one of the best and fanciest hotels in Florence. A gourmet breakfast at our hotel is included every morning! On our first night in Florence a delicious welcome dinner is also included! It’s a great way to meet the other travelers and kick off the trip!

I’ll also be offering a couple optional not to be missed optional add on experiences during the pre-trip to Florence like a city and museum tour to see The David! Plus, I’ve planned a really fun special progressive dinner tour around Florence with an olive oil tasting class and more!

Let’s start with our resort in Tuscany. I’ve found THE PERFECT place for us to spend 8 magical nights in Tuscany!  

It’s this gorgeous sprawling 14th-century Tuscan resort, the Villa Casagrande. It’s filled with so much history and charm. All my travelers LOVE IT! You will too!

It is in the Chianti region with views of the countryside, yet just a short stroll to the cute village for shopping and restaurants. The resort has a pool, and beautiful courtyards to enjoy coffee in the morning or wine outside at night to relax and unwind. 

Speaking of wine, there is a winery right on our resort property! There’s a huge wine cave where they produce lovely Italian wines! We’ll get to take a private tour of the wine cellars to learn all about it. Then, we’ll get to taste their wines during a beautiful welcome party with lots of hors d’oeuvres followed by a multi-course Italian feast.

All my travelers love our main Tuscany resort. The grounds are stunning! There’s a beautiful pool and even a spa!

Our resort even has a wonderful cooking school right on property! We’ll learn how to make several authentic Italian dishes like the best ever homemade lasagna, an Italian pork roast, biscotti and lots more. Then we will sit down for a delicious dinner to enjoy all the Italian food we make.

This is just one of 3 different cooking classes I’ve planned for this trip. All of them are wonderful but one will be extra special! One of the highlights of this trip is spending the afternoon on a real Tuscan farm. I’ve known Momma Teresa for years and all my groups love visiting her farm.

We’ll meet her family and tour the farm. Then we’ll learn how to make her authentic Tuscan family recipes. They are amazing!

Tonight’s dinner is extra special! Teresa will teach us how to make homemade pasta, the most wonderful Italian vegetable soup, the best ever bruschetta and more! It’s a night you’ll never forget and we’ll get all the recipes too!

On this trip we’ll explore charming towns and villages in Tuscany, like Cortona, where the movie Under the Tuscan Sun was filmed.

We’ll visit the quaint hilltop town of San Gimignano, home of the world’s best gelato. Yes, we’ll get to taste, too. It really is THE BEST EVER! So many flavors to choose from. It’s hard to pick. I always try two or three!

For wine lovers, you are in for a real treat! We’ll go to some of the best wineries in Italy. We’ll taste so many amazing Italian wines on this trip.

On this trip we’ll visit Montepulciano. This area produces some of my favorite wines. We’ll spend the day exploring this spectacular hilltop town and tasting wines followed by a delicious Italian lunch at a local winery.

On this trip we’re also going truffle hunting! It’s SO FUN!

We’ll go to an area in Tuscany that’s known for them. We’ll go out with professional truffle hunters and the cutest dogs to find truffles!

We’ll enjoy an AMAZING truffle pasta lunch with Italian wines at the most beautiful Michelin star restaurant. This is some of THE BEST pasta I’ve ever eaten!

You may have scene pictures of those giant Italian sandwiches. We’ll find them! They are HUGE and so yummy! We’ll shop and eat our way around the beautiful vibrant history-filled city of Florence. We’ll visit the HUGE central public food market! When I travel, I love discovering the hidden gems. We’ll go on a city food tour! We’ll go in search of some of the best food in Florence the best coffee and pastries and more! This is an AMAZING day!

We’ll also visit Siena on this trip. This is one of my favorite Italian towns. It’s got so much history and charm! Great shopping too. You’ll have free time here to wander and explore this city on your own! You’ll love it!

We’ll visit the gorgeous walled city of Lucca too! It’s another one of my favorite Italian towns!

On our last night in Tuscany we’ll have a big delicious several course Italian dinner at a nearby Tuscan villa, right next door to Sting’s Tuscan Villa! We’ll drink wine, eat Tuscan grilled meats and pasta, and enjoy a fabulous night with our new friends.

I get the best people on my group trips. That makes the trips even more special. We keep in touch long after the trip and my hope is that we’ll meet and travel again after this trip! I have so many travelers who have come back to travel with me on several of my Cooking Mom Vacations. It warms my heart and inspires me to keep planning new amazing trips!

I mentioned flying in a couple days early. I highly recommend this! It’s a long flight and it’s so nice to be able to sleep in and rest up before we start all our adventures in Tuscany!

We’ll stay two nights at a beautiful Florence hotel. It’s one of THE BEST hotels in Florence and it’s in a great location, right in the heart of the city!

There is so much to see and do in Florence! We’ll have three days to really explore this vibrant city. It’s one of my favorites!

On our first night in Florence we’ll meet for cocktails on our hotel’s gorgeous rooftop. Then I’ve planned a wonderful welcome to Italy dinner at a nearby restaurant. This is a great start to the trip and a wonderful way to meet fellow travelers.

I’ve put together some optional add on tours in Florence. I’ve hired the best guides so you can see the famous David statue and Accademia museum and more!

You’ll also have the option to join me for a progressive dinner and food walking tour of Florence with olive oil tasting, meat and cheeses, wine, pasta, and lots of other wonderful Italian food!

A delicious breakfast at our Florence hotel with espresso coffee drinks and even champagne or mimosas are included both mornings!
