This trip to Mackinac Island is REALLY special! Mackinac Island is one of my favorite places! If you’ve never been, you need to go! If it’s been awhile, it’s time to go back! Early June is one of THE BEST TIMES to visit!

We’ll be there for the Lilac Festival! It’s spectacular! The entire island is covered in lilacs!

There are hundreds of varieties! They are everywhere! Get out your camera! The island smells so good this time of year too!

It’s LILAC EVERYTHING the week we’ll be there! Lilac Lattes and even Lilac cocktails!

There are lots of fun special activities when we are here like FREE special lilac garden tours too!

I love this time of year on the island because it’s the start of the season! There are no crowds and it’s not too hot.

Mackinac Island is voted one of THE BEST and most magical islands in the world! That means it can be a VERY expensive place to visit!

Because we are a group and I’ve been hosting this group trip for years I have formed great relationships and I negotiate THE BEST rates!

This trip is such a GREAT deal with so much included!

Mackinac Island is just magical! There are no cars on the island. It’s like you’ve stepped back in time. The island is filled with history, gorgeous scenery and amazing fall hikes and walks!

If you like great food, you are in for a treat! The island has amazing restaurants! Not to mention the best fudge EVER! We’ll experience it all.

On this trip we will get a VIP behind the scenes fudge making experience at the BEST FUDGE SHOP on the island! We’ll get to see how they make the fudge and we’ll get to try several flavors! We’ll even get to taste it warm right off the marble table! It’s AMAZING!

We’ll spend 4 glorious nights on beautiful Mackinac Island! We’ll come home from the vacation with new friends and memories that will last us a lifetime.

On my trips we stay at the very best hotels! The Island House resort is my favorites hotel on the island! It’s a historic family owned hotel in a great location close to all the action and the best shopping and restaurants!

It’s got a huge front porch where you can look out at the lake and watch all the horses and carriage go by! You’ll love it!

The hotel rooms are fresh and beautiful! They were all just recently re-done!

There are two restaurants on the property with some of the best food on the island!

We’ll kick off our 4 night stay with a delicious gourmet welcome dinner with your choice of fresh Lake Michigan Whitefish, salmon, steak, or pasta.

Our resort has an indoor pool and a hot tub too!

There’s so much to do on the island! You’ll have some fun optional add-ons like a sunset cocktail sail under the Mackinac Bridge. Talk about memories. It’s spectacular!

One of my favorite things to do on the island is take a private carriage ride. This, too, will be an option you can add on,

You’ll get to see so much gorgeous scenery like the famous Arch Rock, the historic Grand Hotel, beautiful victorian cottages and so much more! In fall it will be gorgeous!

This trip leaves out of Wisconsin. If you’re flying to join us, it’s best to fly into the Green Bay airport on June 3th. Then you can spend a night at a Green Bay Area hotel and meet us our bus pick up the morning of June 4th. If you are driving from Wisconsin or out of state you can meet us in one of two spots Green Bay or north of Milwaukee in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Mackinac Island is about a 4 hour drive from Green Bay, Wisconsin. A super comfy motor coach will make stops to pick groups up in both Sheboygan and in the Green Bay area. We’ll make the 4-hour drive to St. Ignace, stopping halfway for a lovely wine tasting and lunch. Then, once we get to St. Ignace, we’ll take a short 20 minute , beautiful ferry ride over to the island. When we get to the island we’ll check in and get settled before our delicious included gourmet welcome dinner.
