We’ll fly in Thursday, March 20th and check in to our charming boutique hotel. It’s an historic luxury hotel right in the heart of it all in the French Quarter.
The hotel rooms are so pretty! It’s even got a beautiful courtyard with a pool!
This is my kind of hotel! I’m all about history and charm! You are going to love it!
On our first night in The Big Easy, we’re going all out! I’ve planned a wonderful several course welcome dinner at one of the most famous and best restaurants in New Orleans! It’s going to be a night to remember!
The next morning, you can’t go to New Orleans without going here!
We’ll go to the famous legendary Cafe Du Monde for coffee and beignets. They are AMAZING!
After breakfast I’ve hired the best guides for a fun, history filled walking tour. We’ll hit the streets to learn all about New Orleans and the French Quarter.
On this trip you’ll have the opportunity to taste so much good food! From muffuletta and poor boy sandwiches to gumbo and jambalaya and lots more!
New Orleans is a city known for it’s incredible food! Bring it on!
This is a culinary trip. That means on my trips we’ll not only eat AMAZING food but on this trip we’ll learn how to make it too!
On this trip we’ll put on an apron and get conn’. We’ll take a cooking class at the VERY BEST cooking school in New Orleans to learn how to make cajun and creole classic dishes. Then, we’ll sit down to enjoy a fabulous dinner with wine after all our hard work! This is gonna be so fun!
On this trip there will also be free to to shop and explore on your own. I’ll also be putting together a list of fun optional add on activities like a walking tour of the beautiful Garden District, Sunday Jazz Brunch, a walking food tour and lot’s more!
I mentioned we’ll be there for the Louisiana Derby on Saturday, March 22. If you’ve always dreamed of going to the Kentucky Derby, this is the next best thing! If you are a Derby fan like me, you can get on our Derby hat and join me at the track live for the horse races!
Or, if you’d prefer to skip the horse racing, you can relax on Saturday you can choose to explore more of New Orleans on your own.
