I’ve timed this trip so that we’ll be back in plenty of time before the holiday season gets into full swing back at home.

On this trip you have the option to fly in two days early. I highly recommend this! It’s really nice to be able to rest up and get your groove back after our long international flight. Most of my travelers really enjoy the extra couple days so they can see and do even more in Munich! It’s one of my favorite cities! Plus, you’ll have more time to get to know and connect with fellow travelers!

For the pre-trip add on extension you’ll fly out after Thanksgiving weekend on Monday, November 30 and you’ll arrive in Munich on December 1st. I’ve planned a very special Bavarian Dinner with German beer and wine for us on at one of Munich’s best restaurant’s Tuesday December 2nd.

The next day you can sleep in! Then you can enjoy a delicious breakfast at our hotel. Our hotel has the best breakfasts! They even have champagne and orange juice for mimosas! After breakfast you can explore some of the beautiful and fun Christmas markets. There are more than 16 Christmas markets just in Munich alone!

For the main trip you’ll fly out December 2nd and spend seven (7) fun-filled nights in Europe, flying home out of Prague and getting back to the U.S. December 10th.

What To Expect

On this trip, you’ll see lots more Christmas markets than most group trips!

We’ll stay in wonderful hotels in great locations so we can easily walk to explore the Christmas markets.

I’m a cookbook author and a food blogger. I’m all about the food! On my trips you’ll have THE BEST food! We’ll feast on on giant pretzels and beautiful meat and cheese boards almost too pretty to eat!

We’ll also enjoy lots different delicious sausages and so much more! I LOVE German food and you will too! You’ll wake up to delicious coffee and espresso drinks and a big beautiful delicious breakfast every morning at our hotels. The breakfasts are AMAZING !

On our first night, I’ve planned a very special HUGE German welcome dinner at the MOST AMAZING restaurant where the locals go! We’ll have lots of German wine and beer. It’s the perfect way to start our trip in Munich!

I’ve also planned a city tour in Munich so we can learn all about this amazing town!

We’ll explore lots of Munich Christmas markets! There are more then 20 different Christmas markets Munich alone!

After Munich we’ll go on to visit a few of the most charming German towns. First up is Regensburg. It is one of my favorites! There is a Christmas market in a castle and it’s incredible!

After Regenburg, we’ll head to Nuremberg! They have huge Christmas markets! We’ll enjoy a walking and history tour in Nuremberg and the most delicious included lunch filled with Nuremberg favorites like homemade gingerbread!

We’ll also have an ugly Christmas sweater party in Nuremberg! I rent out a bar just for us! This party is filled with with German food and beer and wine! Plus, we’ll sing our favorite Christmas songs! It’s SO FUN!

On this trip, you’ll have free time to shop and explore on your own but we’ll also have really fun times and some meals together!

After Nurenberg we’ll head to another great German town. Dresden has some beautiful Christmas markets. They are spectacular!

Next up is Prague! We’ll go on a walking city tour to see all the top sights like the gorgeous Palaces, beautiful churches, the Old Town and the Royal Way.

On our last day, we’ll take a beautiful river cruise to see Prague and the lights at night. It’s stunning! After that we’ll enjoy a magical farewell dinner with drinks, live music and entertainment! It’s an AMAZING night!

Day 1 – Munich, Germany

We’ll start out our trip by flying into one of my favorite cities, Munich, Germany.

It’s so beautiful! During the holidays, even more so! There are 16 different Christmas market in Munich alone!

I’m pretty excited about all the German food we’ll get to eat, like pork roast, potato dumplings, schnitzel and spaetzle! I’m dreaming of the giant freshly baked pretzels and homemade Obatzda, beer cheese spread! Oh my is it AMAZING!

We’re staying at beautiful 4 star hotel in Munich in a great location, right in the heart of the Marienplatz, within walking distance to all places we want to visit. The hotel is amazing! The breakfast every morning at the hotel is wonderful! You’ll love it!

I’ve arranged for some serious fun in Munich.

Upon arrival, we’ll have a big Bavarian welcome dinner at a local Brauhaus with your choice of German beer or wine. That afternoon , we’ll head to out to visit the first Christmas markets of the trip.

We’ll get a private guided tour of Munich’s biggest Christmas market at the historic Marienplatz near our hotel. Then we can shop and eat at the markets all night long!

Day 2 – Munich, Germany

Our next day in Munich, we can sleep in a bit and have a big breakfast at our hotel. Then we’ll go watch the famous Rathaus Glockenspiel clock in the Marienplatz come to life! It’s so beautiful!

After that we’ll visit the most famous beer hall in the world! We’re headed to the Hofbrauhaus! Bring on giant beers, pretzels and the loads of fun! Live music too!

After that we’ll get to visit more different Munich area Christmas markets, each very unique and special! There are more than a dozen just in Munich alone!

Day 3 – Regensburg & Nuremberg, Germany

On our 3rd day in Germany, after breakfast, we’ll board our private motor coach to go to the charming town of Regensburg, Germany. We’ll stroll around Regensburg’s romantic Christmas markets. These markets were some of my favorite and filled with so much Christmas magic! After the day in beautiful Regensburg, we’re headed to Nuremberg!

We’ll check into our hotel and have free tonight time to explore and eat our way around the Christmas market this amazing city!

Day 4 – Nuremberg, Germany

This morning we’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast at our hotel in Nuremberg. After that we’re going to hit the town.

We’ll get a tour of the historic old town. We’ll then have an included lunch with famous Nuremberg sausages and homemade gingerbread and German beer or wine of course!

That night I’ve planned something so fun! We’ll take over a local German pub for my Ugly Sweater party! Time to start shopping for the ugliest Christmas sweater you can find! Get ready to belt out your favorite holiday tunes! This night will be a blast!

Day 5 – Dresden

After Nuremberg, we’ll make our way to Dresden, Germany. We’ll stay in a fabulous hotel right in the heart of town! After lunch it’s time to explore!

We’ll go on a walking tour of the charming city of Dresden and the Christmas markets. It’s home to one of the world’s oldest and most beautiful Christmas markets!

Day 6 & 7 – Prague

From, Germany, we’ll head to Prague for two nights.

This is one of the most gorgeous and photogenic cities in the world! My groups LOVE Prague! You will too!

We’ll see the magnificent prague castle all the famous sights with a full city tour of Prague. We’ll also have plenty of time to explore the wonderful Christmas markets in Prague.

On our last night in Prague, we’ll see the city lights from the water with a river cruise. It’s gorgeous. After our boat ride, we’ll be treated to a special farewell holiday dinner with delicious Czech food and a fun traditional Folklore show with authentic music and dancing. You’ll fly home from Prague December 9th.

Not ready to say goodbye? Stay another night with me in Prague! You’ll have the option to do a post trip one day extension and fly home December 11th instead of the 10th. Why not stay one more night to enjoy the beauty of Prague! There’s so much to see and do and shop for!

Plus if you decide to stay another night with me, we’ll take a walking food tour. We’ll go with the best foodies in town to experience and taste amazing authentic Czech food, beer, cocktails and treats! This is going to be so fun!
