fresh green beans
trimmed

black pepper

tablespoons
olive oil

red bell pepper
diced

cloves
fresh garlic
minced

tablespoons
butter
divided

cup
sliced almonds
Instructions
Wash beans and pat dry.
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet.
Add almonds to the skillet.
Cook over medium-low heat a few minutes until nuts are toasted and golden. Set aside.
In another large skillet heat olive oil. Add beans and on medium high heat stir fry for a minute or two.
Add in the red pepper and oil cook for another minute or two.
Add garlic and cook 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
Add the remaining 2 tablespoon butter to the skillet until it just melts.
Toss the butter with the beans.
Season beans with salt and pepper.
Serve beans and red peppers with the buttery toasted almonds on top.
