Mushroom Swiss Burgers
1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
3 to 4 teaspoons your favorite steak seasoning
2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
8 ounces sliced mushrooms
Salt and pepper
4 slices Swiss cheese
8 slices cooked bacon
4 hamburger buns, split and toasted
Season beef with seasoning salt and form into 4 patties. Heat butter or oil in a skillet. Add mushrooms to the skillet and cook over medium heat until mushrooms are slightly soft. Season with a little salt and pepper.
Grill or fry burgers to your liking. Just before the burgers are done top with swiss cheese. When cheese is melted, remove burgers and place on buns. Top burgers with bacon and mushrooms. Great with your favorite steak sauce as a condiment.
