Ingredients:
1 box (15 ounces) Devil’s Food Cake Mix, baked as cupcakes in liners according to package directions
My homemade Dark Chocolate Frosting or 1 can chocolate frosting
18 to 24 circle Nutter Butters or Nilla Wafers
36 to 48 small candy eyes
126 to 168 candy corn (7 per cupcake)
Red fruit roll-ups, cut into small 18 to 24 small long triangles

Directions:
Make sure cupcakes are cooled. Frost cupcakes and place on the cookie in the center toward the bottom. Place 6 candy corns on top of the cookie to look like feathers. Next, cut a candy corn to make an orange beak. Then, place on the eyes, beak and place a fruit roll-up piece near the beak to make a wattle. Makes 18 to 24 cupcakes.

Notes:
I use extra frosting or a squeeze tube of candy writer, available at hobby or cake decorating stores to secure the candies to the cookie.
