Peppermint Bark

24 ounces of white chocolate, cut in small pieces
2 bags (12 ounces each) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup crushed candy canes
Parchment paper

In a microwave safe bowl melt semi-sweet chocolate chips in the microwave for 60 seconds, stir and repeat for an additional 60 seconds. Place parchment paper on top of a large baking sheet or jelly roll pan. Spread melted chocolate over top. Place in refrigerator for about 20 minutes until set and hardened.

Melt white chocolate in a clean bowl the same way. Place crushed candy canes into the melted white chocolate. Pour white chocolate on top of hardened dark chocolate and sprinkle with the left over crushed candy cane. Place in refrigerator for 2 hours until well set and hardened. Take out and break into pieces. Enjoy!

This makes a big batch. You can use a smaller baking sheet and cut the recipe in half if you like. Makes a great holiday gift! I love giving gifts from my kitchen!
