Christmas in a Cup
Have you heard? There’s a new holiday drink at Starbucks this season! I know, doesn’t take much for me to get excited! Especially when it comes to coffee! I heard about this new drink and I just had to track it down and try it. That’s right, you will have to find it too because it won’t be at all Starbucks. They are just testing it this holiday season. I guess it’s not available in every state.
But, I’m happy to say I found it here in Wisconsin. But, again a warning, it’s not at all the Starbucks here, just a few. Well, it’s called the Chestnut Praline Latte. And, I give it an A plus! It’s yummy! One sip and I thought “Christmas”! If you could put Christmas in a cup this would be it! So what is it?
Well, it’s a latte, which is espresso and steamed milk. Then, it’s flavored with Chestnut Praline Syrup. The best part, lots of wonderful whipped cream on top. Then, they sprinkle super finely crushed nuts and crunchy praline pieces on top. Sounds good, doesn’t it? Well, it really is! I ordered it with half the usual pumps of syrup. For me it was perfect. I just don’t like my coffee drinks too sweet but, that’s just me.
I guess if a lot of people like and order it this season, it will be on the menu at all the Starbucks next year at this time. Here’s hoping it is! So, track it down and try it! Starbucks is not my coffeeshop of choice usually but I find myself there twice a day sometimes for this latte. Loving it!
