To slice meat into thin strips partially freeze and it will slice easily.

Want juicier chicken? Marinade it in buttermilk for up to 24 hours to tenderize.

Cool Cookie Dough

If your cookies are spreading too much, try 
refrigerating the dough for a couple of hours before baking.

Add a small amount of lemon juice to the artichoke cooking 
water to retain the color of the artichoke.

Keep Pesto Cool

Never heat pesto sauce! The basil will discolor and taste bitter.
