Birthday Surprise!
They got me big time! I was on the road this week cooking up Mother’s Day recipes on a few different TV stations. I LOVE doing it! I really do! It’s so fun to travel a bit, meet new people, see old friends, and share my recipes and passions!
But, it was my birthday this week. And, I was out of town. Just a bit tough to be away from the fam on my b–day. You know what I mean, right? Okay, so chin up.
I thought, I can do this. No big deal. I’ll celebrate with family this weekend. It’s all good! So, I woke up early in the morning in Milwaukee and did my recipes on Fox 6 there.
Then, I hopped in the car and drove 5 hours to Minneapolis to do my segment on Twin Cities Live. I made it just in time despite quite of bit of road construction along the way. Ugh! ‘Tis the season I guess.
Anyway, I was live on TV showing Twin Cities Live hosts Elizabeth Ries and Steve Patterson how to put together the cutest ever Cupcake Bouquet when let’s just say I got a little surprise. I guess there’s nothing like a good surprise. Take a peek.
