Pizza Party!

Pizza Party!

Pizza PartyMy son, Riley, just turned 19. Wow! It’s a big year for him! High school graduation! 19 years old! And, next week he’s going to college! Double wow! He’s always been a low-key kind of kid. No big birthday parties. Thank goodness! He’s never really been into that. So, when I asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday, I wasn’t surprised when he said, “PIZZA!” Okay, that I can handle! He loves, loves, loves pizza! He would eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if I let him. He probably will at college! I’m a little nervous because they have several pizza places right on his college campus. Oh well! Anyway, “The Cooking Mom”, hung up her apron and we went out to one of his favorite pizza places.

He loves, I love, we love, Wild Truffle Pizza in Appleton. It’s wood fired, kind of gourmet pizza. Have you ever been? If not you need to go! Riley didn’t even want a birthday cake. Instead we went out for ice cream. What a fun night! Where did the time go? I have no idea! Seems like just yesterday we were watching Thomas the Tank Engine together! We move Riley into his dorm next week! I’m stocking up on Kleenex. Yikes! Check back to see how I do!
