I don’t think I’ve ever met a piece of pizza I didn’t like! Pizza is right up there when it comes to my favorite foods! Both my kids are all about it too! Especially my son, Riley. I think he’d eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if he could. Wait, I think he has! LOL! We once decided to take the family on a pizza vacation to Chicago. 4 days of trying different pizza places and some museums too. It was going to be a blast. But, the trip got cut short after one day when Riley got really sick. No, not from the pizza! He had pneumonia.

Anyway, you know me, I’m always trying to come up with new, fun recipes. Why not take everything great about pizza and turn it into some other delicious dishes. So, I did! I was on Twin Cities Live doing new twists on the traditional Italian pie. My Pizza Soup is a huge hit in my house! It’s like a slice of pizza in a bowl! And, you can make it in under 20 minutes. Now, come on that’s quicker than getting a pizza delivered. Cheaper too! I serve it piping hot in bowls and set out some fun toppers like extra cheese, pepperoni, green peppers, and black olives. Then kids can sprinkle their favorite pizza topping on top. What fun! And, really fun with pizza flavored goldfish crackers swimming on top too!

Talk about quick and easy. It doesn’t get much easier than my Pizza Rolls. Keep a can of biscuits in your fridge, pizza sauce, and shredded cheese on hand and you can whip these up as a quick snack in minutes! With a salad they even make a fun, easy dinner!

Need to bring an appetizer? My Pizza Dip rocks. Cream cheese, pizza sauce, more cheese and whatever else you like on your pizza. So, do I have you craving pizza now? Get busy and make some of these recipes! And, if you have any good pizza inspired recipes, please share! One day I hope to continue our pizza tour of Chicago. I’ll go anywhere for good pizza. You too? Where’s your favorite pizza place? I may just have to go there for a slice!
