Making Lunch Time Fun on TV in Chicago and Milwaukee!

Making Lunch Time Fun on TV in Chicago and Milwaukee!

Do your kids brown bag it? Trying to figure out what to put in there every day can be a challenge! I get it! My daughter, Ireland isn’t a big fan of cold sandwiches so I came up with some fun ideas and she’s loving it! I think your kiddos will too!

I was on TV in Chicago and Milwaukee this week, sharing some fun, easy and healthy back to school lunch recipes. Ireland loves spaghetti. Most kids do. Peanut butter too! Just a few other ingredients and you can whip up my Sesame Noodle Salad in no time. It’s so good! Not just for kids either! It’s one of my favorites too!

If your kids like pizza, they’ll love my Pizza Rolls. I start with a can of refrigerated biscuits that I put in muffin tins. Then, a little pizza sauce, cheese, and your favorite pizza toppings. So fun! They make a quick, easy dinner or after school snack. Pack the leftovers in the kids lunch bags.

My Gone Fishin’ Snack Mix is perfect to pack in the kids lunch instead of chips. It’s also great to have on hand in the car for all those after school activities. I keep telling people, make veggies and fruit look pretty and serve it with a dip and your kids will eat it! Thread strawberries and pineapple on toothpicks and pack them for lunch with my Raspberry Kiwi Dip made with Greek yogurt. So good!

You can’t forget to pack a treat too. What about my 3 ingredient homemade Peanut Butter Cookies? They’re gluten free too! Or, what about these adorable Apple Cinnamon Cupcakes! Life can be a little boring sometimes. Don’t let lunch be! If you have any fun lunch bag ideas, I’d love to hear about them! Please share! I may even feature your recipe as the Recipe of the Week! So, get busy! Cook up some memories.
