Enjoying the Florida Sun!

We had so much fun last year that after Christmas we decided to hit the road for another holiday vacation in Florida. Last year we discovered a place we’d never been before, called Anna Maria Island. We love it here! Especially Arlo our dog. We couldn’t leave him behind! This island isn’t fancy. I think that’s what makes it so charming! It’s got that old Florida, Key West kind of feel. Adirondack chairs, pastel cruiser bikes, and the style here is ultra casual. It’s all about flip flops and tee-shirts.

There are fishing piers, beautiful beaches and gorgeous sunsets!

The house we rented is so cute! I felt at home right when we walked it. It’s bright, colorful and super cozy!

You can’t beat coffee on the front porch and the great view!

We packed Uno, and Yahtzee and lots of great books. Looking forward to a lazy, relaxing week here doing all of the above.

We are planning a few days out on the water too. My brother and sister-in-law live nearby. They have a boat! Ireland and I are in search of dolphins. We’ll let you know if we find some.

One, thing we have found is some AMAZING seafood! We are enjoying fresh Florida grouper! So good! Stone crabs claws too! For dessert it’s all about Key Lime Pie. It’s our FAVE!

We’re on a mission to find the best piece on the Island! Have you been here? Got any recommendations on where we can get a great slice? Or other great places to eat or visit here? Well gotta run. Arlo wants to go for a walk and then we’re beach bound. No worries I brought a hat and lots of sunscreen. Hope you’re enjoying your holidays! If you want to see what we’re up to this week, I’ll post pictures on Instagram. You can follow me on Facebook and Twitter, and I have some delicious boards on Pinterest too!

  1. No offense but having lived in Florida, I can’t figure out why someone else can’t make Key Lime Pie, including me!
