Ingredients:
1 cup raw uncooked wild rice
1/2 stick butter
1 14 oz can chicken broth
1 10 oz can french onion soup
1 soup can water
1 4 oz can mushrooms, drained
Directions:
Saute rice in butter. Place in 2 qt casserole dish. Cover with remaining ingredients. Bake 2-3 hours uncovered at 325 degrees.
Notes:
This is excellent with pork and chicken recipes. I noticed in your book that you seem to use a lot of Uncle Ben’s which is good too, but this is so yummy and is easy to throw in the oven while getting everything else for the dinner together. This is also very good with your apricot chicken breasts.
