Ingredients:
1 container jumbo buttermilk biscuits
Approximately 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1-1/2 lbs ground beef
1 cup ketchup
1 tbs vinegar
1/4 tsp paprika
1 tbs sugar
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup water
Directions:
Brown ground beef in large pan. Mix in remaining ingredients, bring to a boil and then simmer for 10 minutes. Using fingers, flatten biscuits and press bottom and sides of dough into muffin tin, bringing dough up over sides of cup. Fill dough “cups” with the meat mixture and bake according to biscuit directions .The last couple minutes of baking time, sprinkle the tops with the cheese, and finish baking until cheese melts.
Notes:
This is a family sloppy Joe recipe, and I omit onions and green peppers because of my kids. But if you all enjoy them please feel free to add while browning hamburger. Enjoy!
