Ingredients:
3 crunchy red delicious apples (about 3 cups), cubed
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons lemon juice
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups diced celery
1/2 cup chopped and toasted walnuts
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped
Leaf lettuce (optional)

Directions:
Sprinkle cubed apples with sugar, lemon juice and salt. Add celery and nuts. Fold mayonnaise into whipped cream. Fold mayonnaise mixture gently into apple mixture. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. You can line a bowl or plates with lettuce if you like and serve salad on top.

Notes:
Best if served with 24 hours of making. You can lighten it up by using light mayo or plain Greek Yogurt in place of the mayo and/or heavy whipping cream.
