Ribs 'n Beer

Ribs ‘n Beer

Ingredients
 

  • 1 onion - sliced
  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 1 bottle (12-ounce) beer
  • 4 tbsp Rib Rub
  • BBQ sauce

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Spread onion slices evenly on a rimmed baking sheet, and place ribs, bone side down, on top.
  • Pour beer over ribs, sprinkle ribs with my Rib Rub.
  • Cover pan tightly with foil.
  • Bake 3 hours or until tender.
  • Fire up the grill.
  • Grill ribs over medium heat 10 to 20 minutes or until slightly charred, basting the last few minutes with BBQ sauce.

    I used this recipe and pre-cooked the ribs on Sunday and threw them on the grill yesterday for our 4th of July barbecue. I must say these were some of the best ribs I have ever had! Everyone at the barbecue loved them! Thanks for this amazing recipe. It’s a definite winner!

    Was not expecting much as they were so simple to make but they were amazing! Used the Rib Rub recipe from this site as well. Served with a twice baked potato casserole and grilled romaine for a great dinner.
