Ingredients:
5 large Bartlett pears, peeled, cored & cut into 1″ chunks
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 lg. eggs
1/4 c. butter, melted & cooled
1/4 c. heavy cream
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Bake pie crust at 400 degrees for 6-8 minutes prior to filling.
Place pears in pie shell. In medium bowl, mix sugar, flour and nutmeg, whisk in eggs, melted butter, heavy cream & vanilla until smooth. Pour mixture over pears. Bake approximately 60 minutes until filling is just set & browned on top. Test with a knife in the center. Cool.
