Hanten Serves Up Second Helping of Recipes

Chefs writing cookbooks for working families can be a bit like a NASCAR driver writing driver’s ed curriculum. They’re both experts in their fields, but when it comes to everyday life their expertise may not translate so well.

That’s where longtime TV host, wife and working mom Amy Hanten’s latest cookbook, “The Cooking Mom Cooks Up Memories” comes in.

“I’m a working mom, I’m not a chef. I go home and clean my house and do my own shopping,” Hanten says. “I think people can relate to that.”
