Happy Birthday Girls!

I can’t believe it! My daughter Ireland is a teenager! Wow! It seems like it was just yesterday we were taking her home from the hospital. Now, she’s turning into a little lady! Ireland was born over Memorial Day weekend. It seems like every year we are up at the cottage to celebrate her special day. This year it was extra special! Our friend’s daughter, Quinn, was also born Memorial Day weekend. Ireland loves 7-year-old Quinn like a little sister. We decided, why not do a double birthday! A big group of us gathered at one of our favorite up North restaurants, The Dam Site Inn  for a big chicken dinner. It’s Ireland’s favorite! Bob started the evening off with a “Happy Birthday” toast to two lovely little ladies! We all raised a glass, in their case, a glass of milk. At the end on the meal, we were all stuffed but, it was time for cake, not one cake, but two. One for each! What a special night and a great way to end the Memorial Day weekend!
