Remember the cute baby deer in our yard a couple weeks ago. Guess what? It’s back! Actually it never really left. We discovered that it’s living in the woods behind our house. Every time we go out to walk the dog you can hear the leaves wrestling and the deer in the woods quickly scampering away. Last night, out came mom. I guess, like most mom’s she was trying to figure out what was for dinner. l She just took her good old time, walking around our backyard. I ran to grab the camera. She didn’t seem to mind at all. A little nature in the city. It’s pretty cool to see!

That is so neat. We have a deer at our cottage in Tomahawk. She has only 3 legs, her front leg is missing half way. For the past 4 years she has been coming to our yard and we feed her corn. She is very tame and I can get within a few feet and she backs away. Every year we come back in spring and I think she will not have survived the winter and here she comes out of the woods. This year I just started to cry when I saw her !! What a wonderful experience in nature to see her!!
