I survivived my first national dance competition! Yikes! Ireland, Riley and I drove all the way from Green Bay to Virginia Beach! We made some fun stops along the way. I am happy to report our monster road trip and the dance competion went great!
Here’s Ireland and her team. She’s in the center with the microphone. It was their first time competing at nationals. They were up against some pretty amazing teams. Both her small tap group, and her jazz group took top honors! The entire group from her dance school, Barb’s Centre for Dance, did a large jazz production number with about 100 dancers. They rocked it! They took home 1st place and huge trophy. Super cool to see all that energy! Wish I could move like that! Thanks to all the other “dance moms” with hairspray, lipgloss, and all that other jazz! Hope we’ll be back again next year!
