Chicken Marsala Casserole

Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 1/2 cups long grain rice, uncooked
1 cup sliced mushrooms
3 green onions, sliced
1 cup shredded mozarella cheese
2 3/4 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup marsala wine
1/4 cup, or 1/2 stick butter, cut into pieces
2 cloves minced garlic
salt and pepper

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 13×9 inch baking dish.

2. Combine all ingredients in prepared baking dish. Cover tightly with heavy duty aluminum foil. Bake covered for 30 minutes, or until rice is tender.

Notes:
If you want, you can add additional mozarella cheese and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese had melted.
