Trick or Treat!

It was a chilly Halloween night, but, hey, we’re used to this in Wisconsin. Lots of layers underneath the costume and bring it on! This year Ireland just couldn’t decide what she wanted to be. Finally, we got it! Blue, the dog, from Blue’s Clues. Bob, made the ears from felt and a headband. Blue sweats and a hat and gloves and she was all set. She had two friends over after school. Lots of giggles and hairspray everywhere and they were off. I always stay home and hand out the candy. Levi, the dog and I run to the door every time it rings. Such fun! Especially seeing the little ones! Hot chocolate when the kids got home and jack-o-lantern shaped pizzas too. What a fun night! How was your Halloween? Any fun traditions in your family? Please share!

Ireland, you look adorable. I was so happy that you could attend the Millhome event with your Mom. It was a wonderful night and you were charming as usual. Stay sweet. Joie

My husband has been doing a haunted garage for a few years now and we have several friends and family come and play “monster”. This year I made chili, meatballs, spicy pumpkin cupcakes, spider cookies and corn bread muffins to make sure my monters did not go hungry. We also make some adult treats for the cold mom and dads. The neighbor kids always look forward to it and we have a blast!! Glad you all had a great Halloween too!
