Special Delivery
The funniest thing happened on our road trip to Door County this week! We were up signing books Cornucopia, a great kitchen store in Sturgeon Bay and Novel Ideas, a wonderful book store in Baily’s Harbor. The snow was really coming down and it was a winter wonderland! Just beautiful! We were just about to leave the bok store when we got a call from a guy working at a gas station. He said he couldn’t make it up to Baily’s Harbor because of the snow. He asked if we could stop by his gas station on our way back home to deliver him 3 books. You bet! Nice people! By the way we had a wonderful lunch at the Harbor Fish market in Baily’s Harbor. A lobster roll (my first ever) and fish chowder. Can’t wait to go back there. Pretty place and great food!
