Is Everything Better with Bacon?
When you think of the Wisconsin Dells, you think waterparks, right? Well think food too! Really good food! I think I gained 5 pounds during our trip! We found a placed that deep fried everything from a PB&J sandwich to fried mac ‘n cheese, and even twinkies.
A must stop is a place called Swiss Made Fudge right downtown. Talk about good chocolate! Have you been there? They are known for the fudge but I’m not really a fudge person. I love their dark covered chocolate homemade toffee! Buttery and wonderful! I bought a big box for Bob’s birthday and a few turtles too. Hope he doesn’t notice a few were missing from the box. I just couldn’t help myself! Ireland loved the chocolate covered pretzels rolled in M & M’s .
Then, as we were about to leave the store she noticed the chocolate covered bacon. Yep, you heard right. “Mom, please!” She is my bacon lover. She tried it and loved it! I just couldn’t do it. Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE chocolate and I LOVE bacon but, together. Nope! Just can’t do it. Would you? Got any good bacon recipes without chocolate? Share them here. Where is the place with all the deep fried food. I”m a deep fried food junkie and we are going there in August and would LOVE to stop there.
